Jim Durham has been a civil litigator for 34 years.  He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and a past President of the State Bar of Georgia.  He served on the Judicial Qualifications Commission for Georgia for nine years.  He is also a Fellow in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.  He has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell for years and has been consistently named as a Georgia Super Lawyer in the area of commercial litigation.. I have been practicing law since 2004, and take pride in making sure my clients are not only well represented, but also well informed of what actions I am taking on their behalf.  Over the years, I've developed a specialty in automobile accidents, and also with speeding and other traffic citations, misdemeanor and felony criminal defense.  I can assist clients with probate matters, and I have represented and continue to represent businesses, cities and counties in liability matters.  I sit as a municipal court judge on a part time basis.  I enjoy presiding over court, and utilizing the knowledge I've gained over the last several years on the bench.  I am certified as both a mediator and arbitrator, and enjoy the ability to help people resolve their disputes.  I am unapologetically a Christian.  That does not mean I am perfect, but means that I believe that one should treat others the way he or she wants to be treated.
