Mr. Ayala was the 2007-2008 Chair of the Southern California Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association and helped organize the Southern California Raid Response Network to provide immediate aid to victims of mass employment raids. Mr. Ayala was a member of the National AILA/Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) Liaison Committee from 2008-2010 working with the EOIR to implement ideas and solutions to improve procedures before immigration courts throughout the United States and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
