Tirra Seely is an Associate Attorney based out of the firm’s Burlington and Bellingham offices.. Tirra received her Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2019. Throughout law school, Tirra was highly involved in multiple organizations. She competed on the Jessup International Moot Court Team, serving as captain her second year. She also served as a Board Member for the Moot Court Honors Council, Gonzaga Public Interest Law Project, and the Juvenile Record Sealing Clinic.. She completed internships with GLP Attorneys (Spokane), the Unemployment Law Project, and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. During her second year of law school she was selected as a Trial Advocacy Fellow for the Washington State Association for Justice. After graduation, Tirra joined GLP Attorneys as an Associate Attorney in 2019. In addition to serving clients across the Pacific Northwest, Tirra leads our Legal Internship Program for our North Washington region. Our Legal Internship Program exists to provide meaningful work experiences for students in law school that are interested in careers in the personal injury field. Each year GLP Attorneys is proud to employ up to 10 legal interns across the State.. Before attending law school, Tirra received her Bachelors of Arts at Whitworth University (2014) and then spent two years serving as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Whatcom County.

Sarah Aguero is an Associate Attorney in the Burlington office of GLP Attorneys.. Sarah attended Western Washington University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law. She returned home after graduation to begin her career as a law clerk serving both Skagit and Snohomish Counties, before ultimately becoming a prosecuting attorney for Snohomish County.. She now serves as an Associate Attorney at GLP Attorneys, where she leverages her years of legal experience to help her injured clients get the compensation they deserve.. In addition to her role as a personal injury attorney, Sarah is Vice President of the Skagit County Bar Association and serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Skagit County Legal Aid, an organization that provides free legal assistance to local residents in need.

I have battle-scarred empathy.   I too have struggled with issues life presents.     I understand the stress losing a job; I know the challenge of  financially surviving in this world; I have experienced family dramas;  and I have felt the unclassey sting of small-town politics.. I have alot of heart and perserverence.    Athletics at a young age instilled this in me.   Although I was never the most talented athlete - I worked very hard to make it to the college level.. I have great legal experience.    I worked as  Prosecutor in 1998, have worked as a Public Defender and private practice for over 20 years.   Also, I served well over a decade in the U.S. Army Reserves as a JAG officer, where I helped hundreds of soldiers which included six short overseas tours (including 3 to Korea).. In addition, I had the distinct honor of being an intern for Paul Luvera and John Murphy in the early 90's--I have never seen men so passionate in their search for justice and their unmatched work ethic.    I was very lucky to office share with several wonderful men and attorneys -- Jim Anderson taught me the importance of a strong community presence; Brian Paxton showed how a fine sense of balance and work can be of benefit and John Ward taught me that being a country gentleman lawyer is a very worthwhile endeavor.. Heather has worked in the legal field since 1990, beginning as a paralegal and ultimately becoming an attorney through the Washington State Bar Association’s Rule 6 Law Clerk program in 2007. The law clerk program, which provides an alternative to the traditional law school route, combines a theoretical, scholastic, and clinical experience. She now leads the Burlington, Bellingham, and Wenatchee offices of GLP Attorneys and practices in Skagit, Whatcom, Island, Chelan, Douglas, San Juan, and Okanogan Counties. Heather leads the firm’s Trucking Injury practice group, and is also a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.. Heather is fluent in Spanish, having majored in the language at the University of Washington. She now provides representation to all GLP Attorneys’ Spanish-speaking clients across the state.. She is passionate about representing her clients, which has resulted in winning favorable verdicts for them in trial. She enjoys understanding her clients’ stories and conveying them in her representation and advocacy.
