I have been practicing law for over 25 years and make it my goal to satisfy every client even if the case may not go their way.  Our firm prides itself on having 90% of its lawyers in their first job out of law school. I have been practicing bankruptcy law since 1993 when I first started clerking for the Honorable Randolph Baxter, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge.  As a law clerk I was able to experience the judge's persepctive of each case.   I then started my own practice and quickly earned an appointment to the Cleveland panel of chapter 7 trustees.  I handle cases as a bankruptcy trustee, and I represent individuals who need financial assistance, including filing for chapter 7 and chapter 13 protection.    I have a unique perspective of the practice from all sides of each matter which helps me quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of each person's situation.   I then work hand in hand with my clients to develop the best strategy for obtaining relief for their financial problems.

I have been married for over 25 years and am the father of three daughters.  I have strong ties to the community as I am involved in a number of local groups and projects.  I have coached local softball and basketball teams in the eastern suburbs for past ten years.  I use my strong family values in every facet of my legal practice to reach fair, reasonable, and efficient results for my clients.

I have been involved in construction all of my life, so as a lawyer it was a natural fit.  The Builders Exchange was the first step in being able to work to help subcontractors and suppliers level the playing field.  The American Subcontractors Association was the next step.  While the Builders Exchange is vital for all members of the construction industry at evey level, the ASA is vital for all subcontractors and suppliers because there we work to help subcontractors find better jobs with the best contractors, to negotiate contracts that are fair and to treat their businesses as professinal businesses.. We also work as the only advocate who works ONLY for subcontractors and suppliers, in the Courts, and Federal and state legislatures and with the other members of the construction industry, with AGC, ConsensusDOCS, AIA and other trade associations.. As the Chair of the Subcontractors Legal Defense Fund (SLDF) I work directly on Court of Appeals Cases which are important to Subcontractors, either to keep good existing laws or change bad laws.  The SLDF provides free Amicus briefs across the country, whereever we find cases where we can make a meaningful impact.. I personally have been lucky enough to have been selected to write amicus briefs on 5 important cases, from Ohio Mechanic's Liens, to Delay Claims, Change Orders, Flow Down Clauses and Pay-if-Paid Contract Clauses.

I have been dedicated to serving the injured and disabled for 33 years, ever since I graduated from law school.  This area of law became my passion when, in 1982, many people were cut off from their benefits without notice or due process. Once I saw deserving people being harmed because they were not receiving their disability benefits, I was hooked. It has been my honor to represent many deserving people ever since.. Over the years I have served as the chair of the Social Security section of the Cuyahoga Bar Association, chair of the Social Security section of the Ohio Trial Layers Association, and President of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. I testified before special Social Security sessions called by the Honorable George Voinovich and Stephanie Tubbs Jones. I have learned so much from these opportunities and have used this knowledge to help my clients. Hopefully, I have given back to the community at large as well.

I graduated from Hixson High School in Hixson, Tennessee and did my undergraduate studies, with a dual major in Honors Political Science and English, at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.  My JD (law) degree came from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, where I finished first as an oralist in the Phillip Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and was appointed to be a Member of the GW Moot Court Board.. During law school, I clerked for a federal securities law firm and a prominent worldwide international trade law firm. Post law school, I served both as in-house counsel and corporate trainer for a large, Chattanooga, TN based corporation focused on enhancing the brand image of Fortune 500 companies.  I then worked for a multi-state insurance defense law firm for 13 years before I started Jones & Associates, PC.. I enjoy fly fishing, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, snow skiing and reading during my spare time.. Presently, I am a student, studying for a Masters of Science in Psychology at the Southern New Hampsire University.

I graduated college cum laude where I was an Academic All-American athlete majoring in Psychology and Education. I continued my education at the CSU, Marshall School of Law.  While in law school, I gained extensive legal experience as the first assistant to the United States District Counsel for Immigration and Naturalization Services. Upon graduation and passing the bar, I interviewed with the F.B.I but decided to pursue mypassion for representing the rights of individuals and joined the defense firm of Bruner & Jordan Co. LPA.  A few years later, I formed the law firm of Sidoti & Sidoti L.P.A. where Ibegan focusing his practice in Civil Rights, and Criminal Defense. Recently, I joined longtime friend and mentor, Bret Jordan, as a partner with Jordan & Sidoti, LLP. I am a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the CCDLA and also licensed in the Western District of Pennsylvania.. I devote most of my practice to representing employers in workers' compensation matters.  I have represented employers in administrative proceedings before the Industiral Commission of Ohio and courts throughout the state of Ohio.

I am priviledged to serve as an adjunct professor of law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. I instruct third year law students on the art of trying a case. My trial work is my greatest strength.. Additionally, I have maintained my own private practice for the last 20 years.
