He earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia, and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. While in college, Jordan earned his commission as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army, and attended Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia.. Jordan is licensed to practice law in Arizona, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. After practicing law in Philadelphia for several years, Jordan relocated to Arizona in 2011 to start a Family Law practice with his sister, Amanda, which serves the greater Phoenix area. Jordan is a member of the Arizona State Bar Association, the Maricopa County Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the Maricopa County Bar Association.. I am a very passionate advocate.  I bring a unique vantage point to my practice, combining a background in mediation, negotiation, family law, and finance.. I am familiar with the practice of law on Wall Street and Main Street. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and received a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School-Newark. While a law student, I completed a conflict management concentration focusing on negotiation, mediation, alternative dispute resolution and arbitration.      I completed a Federal Judicial Externship with Honorable Ronald J. Hedges and was a Mediator for the Division of Consumer Affairs. I spent two years as an associate for a wall street bank, Goldman Sachs, managing International Swaps and Derivatives Association Agreements. I completed courses through Goldman Sachs University, including corporate negotiation.        After going through the divorce process myself, I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.....help people start their lives over.  I left the corporate world and began my family law career working for a small firm in Hackensack, New Jersey where I litigated divorce cases before New Jersey Superior Court Justices in 11 counties.  In November of 2007, I opened the doors to the Law Office of Amanda Mays in Princeton, New Jersey.   The firm was dedicated to 100% family law, including cases involving divorce, annulments, custody, child support, spousal support, distribution of assets and debts, complicated distributions of businesses and financial products requiring forensic accountings and appraisals, domestic and international kidnappings, grandparents' visitation rights and enforcement issues.      In early 2011, I packed my bags and moved to Chandler, Arizona with my family.         I am licensed to practice law in Arizona and New Jersey.  I am a member of the Arizona State Bar Association, the Maricopa County Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the Maricopa County Bar Association. I completed a 40-hour Mediation Training course administered by the Arizona Office of the Attorney General, in partnership with the Arizona Supreme Court's AOC.
