I was born in Detroit, and raised in southeastern Michigan and northwestern Ohio, before moving to the desert southwest after graduation from college. I traded winter gray skies, cold and snow for sunshine warmth and annual withering summer heat. I have lived in Arizona since 1976, and graduated law school in 1983.. I am single, with three handsome & intelligent adult sons, and an eight-year old grandson, who keeps me busy trying to keep up with him. I  enjoy an active lifestyle, including: trave to new and interesting places; white-water rafting, camping and stream fishing for trout; playing and watching sports; reading and  talking with people, as I always want to better know and understand our world around us.

During this time, I was also responsible for patent prosecution training and providing intellectual property counseling related to technology agreements, strategic patent portfolio development, licensing, software, non-infringements opinions, and patent litigation.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and received a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School-Newark. While a law student, I completed a conflict management concentration focusing on negotiation, mediation, alternative dispute resolution and arbitration.      I completed a Federal Judicial Externship with Honorable Ronald J. Hedges and was a Mediator for the Division of Consumer Affairs. I spent two years as an associate for a wall street bank, Goldman Sachs, managing International Swaps and Derivatives Association Agreements. I completed courses through Goldman Sachs University, including corporate negotiation.        After going through the divorce process myself, I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.....help people start their lives over.  I left the corporate world and began my family law career working for a small firm in Hackensack, New Jersey where I litigated divorce cases before New Jersey Superior Court Justices in 11 counties.  In November of 2007, I opened the doors to the Law Office of Amanda Mays in Princeton, New Jersey.   The firm was dedicated to 100% family law, including cases involving divorce, annulments, custody, child support, spousal support, distribution of assets and debts, complicated distributions of businesses and financial products requiring forensic accountings and appraisals, domestic and international kidnappings, grandparents' visitation rights and enforcement issues.      In early 2011, I packed my bags and moved to Chandler, Arizona with my family.         I am licensed to practice law in Arizona and New Jersey.  I am a member of the Arizona State Bar Association, the Maricopa County Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the Maricopa County Bar Association. I completed a 40-hour Mediation Training course administered by the Arizona Office of the Attorney General, in partnership with the Arizona Supreme Court's AOC.

After growing up in small town Nebraska and deciding early on he wanted to pursue a legal career, Brad attended Dana College in Blair, Nebraska, where he obtained degrees in Psychology and Business Management. While attending the University of Nebraska, College of Law, Brad was hired for an internship with a local criminal defense attorney who relied on him to perform all legal research and briefing involving a variety of procedural and constitutional criminal issues. During his time at the University of Nebraska, College of Law, Brad placed 1st in the Allen Moot Court Competition receiving the award for best brief with the finals of the competition determined by three members of the Nebraska Supreme Court. During his third year of law school, Brad qualified as a Senior Certified Law Student that allowed him to attend and participate in numerous hearings and oral arguments in the county and federal trial courts and brief and argue an appeal in the Nebraska Court of Appeals. Upon graduation from the University of Nebraska, College of Law, Brad moved to Arizona where he has practiced law since 2001. With the goal of giving back to his home state of Nebraska, Brad will also be seeking admission to practice law in Nebraska.. Since being admitted to practice, Brad has accumulated valuable experience and knowledge in a number of diverse areas of civil litigation that provided the foundation for his practice in probate administration and litigation.
