Bradford was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the Citadel in 2001. While at the Citadel, Bradford was an academic standout and recipient of the Bernard Baruch and Frank W. Cayce academic scholarships. He was also a member of the football team and served as his company’s athletic officer. In 2005, Bradford obtained his law degree from the University of South Carolina. After graduation, he began his legal career as a law clerk to The Honorable Thomas A. Russo, Circuit Judge of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. Bradford was Judge Russo’s first law clerk and, because of Judge Russo’s at-large position, they presided over criminal and civil cases as far south as Charleston County and as far North as Oconee County. During his time with Judge Russo, Bradford gained invaluable insight into the perspectives, and decision making processes of Judges in a wide variety of cases, both civil and criminal. At the conclusion of his clerkship in 2006, Bradford became an associate of Aiken, Bridges, Elliott, Tyler, & Saleeby, P.A. in his hometown of Florence, South Carolina. During his time with the Aiken, Bridges Firm, Bradford specialized in general civil defense litigation. His areas of practice included personal injury defense, construction defect litigation, medical malpractice defense, premises liability defense, as well as a wide range of constitutional law cases involving alleged violations of the 4th, 5th, 8th, and 14th Amendment rights of detained persons. Bradford’s notable clients included various divisions of the South Carolina Department of Corrections, county detention centers across the Pee Dee Region, as well as city and county law enforcement officials themselves. During his time in Florence, Bradford also handled many DSS child abuse/neglect cases where he acted as attorney for parents as well as Guardian Ad Litem for children. In April of 2010, Bradford relocated to Charleston, where he has quickly expanded his areas of practice to, plaintiff’s personal injury, criminal defense, and family law matters. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal district courts of South Carolina, and is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Charleston County Bar Associations, and South Carolina Association for Justice. Bradford is capable of handling a wide range of legal issues, and is passionate about helping the citizens of the Charleston area. Bradford is an avid outdoorsman, and when he is not fighting for his clients, he enjoys spending his free time at the beach.

Ben Traywick is a trial lawyer who represents clients in matters relating to personal injury and wrongful death; defective construction and contractor/developer negligence; investment fraud and money manager negligence/misrepresentation; probate and contested will claims, and various other matters. He has been lead counsel in more than a dozen trials seen through to verdict, in both state and federal courts in South Carolina.. Practicing law in his hometown of Charleston, Ben has a lifetime's worth of great friends and his entire family: parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and his own lovely wife and two little girls. Yet unlike many "locals", Ben embraces the wave of new arrivals the Charleston area has seen in recent years from all over the country. In his view the new folks bring new energy and new ideas which keep the scene here vivid and interesting. In recent years Ben has represented clients hailing from Washington and California, Massachusetts and New York, and of course many from across South Carolina.. Outside of work Ben reads as many good books as possible, wets a fishing line here and there, and hones his chronically mediocre home improvement skills. He serves his neighborhood civic club as its treasurer and attorney, his church on its vestry and as lector, his town on its Historical Commission, and his colleagues in the South Carolina Bar in its House of Delegates.
