I know that it is standard practice in law to have scales or a gavel or some other symbol that says “attorney”.  But I wanted to choose a symbol that didn’t just stand for the practice of law, but that represented my purpose for practicing law.. The Owl represents Athena- who is the Greek goddess of wisdom, prudent warfare and guardian of people. For centuries, Athena has symbolized an astute companion and protector of those who are embarking on dangerous journeys or facing struggles.. I practice law with the goal in mind to help people when they need it the most-when they are facing legal issues.  They don’t call them “legal battles” because they are easy.. From the time we first meet until the case is resolved I will be your advocate, your companion in your journey, and will work diligently to protect your rights.  You are not alone.  I will be with you every step of the way.

I bring a passion for family law to McDaniel Law Group, and knew from my law school days that it was the only area of law in which I wanted to make a career. As a Columbus Family and Adoption Law attorney, I represent clients in a wide range of matters, including divorce, dissolution, child custody, grandparent visitation, prenuptial agreements, civil stalking/civil protection orders and all forms of adoption. I am also a certified Guardian ad Litem on the Franklin County Domestic, and Juvenile Abuse, Neglect, Dependency lists.. I received my Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School and my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University. While in law school I received the Cali Award (recognizing the highest final grade in the class) for my academic achievement in Mediation. I was a Capital University Law School Moot Court Competitor during my second and third year of law school. I competed in Buffalo and Brooklyn, New York. I am now a Coach for Capital University Law School's Moot Court Program.. I was born and raised in Ohio and I enjoy cycling, watching college sports, and spending time with my husband, Bryce and two dogs, River and Kava.
