Jenny Tiu received her B.S. degree in Physiological Science from UCLA.  During her undergraduate studies, she was a research assistant at UCLA for both spinal cord injury and atherosclerosis research.  Ms. Tiu then earned her J.D. degree at Golden Gate University School of Law with an emphasis in Public Interest Law.  During law school, she interned for the San Francisco City Attorney's Office in the Juvenile Dependency Unit.  She then went on to intern for the Solano County Alternate Public Defender's Office in the Juvenile Dependency Unit and later in the Misdemeanor Unit.  After being admitted to the bar, she was hired as a deputy public defender in Solano County where she represented hundreds of misdemeanor and juvenile dependency clients.  There, she earned a reputation for starting investigation early, preserving evidence, and being an excellent advocate for her clients.. I was originally a member of the former Hartsell, Hartsell & White, P.A. firm prior to our merger with Williams Boger Grady Davis & Tuttle in 2004. I enjoy sports, mostly football but do also like basketball from time to time and also enjoying coaching my two sons in baseball.
