Michael Geoffroy was raised in Rockdale County and graduated from the George Walton Academy which is located in Monroe, GA.  After being awarded an academic scholarship, Michael attended the University of Florida and after he graduated, he then attended the University of Georgia Law School.  Michael has been practicing law in the state of Georgia since 2001.. Michael works hard to make access to justice a reality and is involved in several pro bono projects including the Truancy Intervention Program (TIP) mentoring at-risk children to stay in school and graduate.  Michael also proudly offers a scholarship to assist people as they pursue their education and work to better their lives.. Michael is a proud member of the Covington community and has served on the Main Street Board, The Newton County Planning and Zoning Board, the Arts Association Board, and the Covington YMCA Board.  Michael is married to his best friend, Tara McFarland Geoffroy and they have 3 beautiful children, Mac, Hudson, and Alice.  As a family, they enjoy attending Sunday services at Church of the Good Shepherd.. When Michael isn't with his family, he's advocating for the rights of injured people throughout Conyers, Covington, and Atlanta, GA.
