During his clerkship, Steven grew and immense passion for family law, which led to him earning the Law Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in Family Law the following semester.. While attending law school, Steven gained additional experience by volunteering with Texas Legal Services Center where he provided legal assistance to the underprivileged in areas of family law, wills and estates, property law, and landlord-tennant law.. Steven is a 2023 graduate of St. Mary's University School of Law where he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence. Steven is also a 2020 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor's of Arts in Government..
