I attended Florida State University where I received degrees in Civil Engineering and Law, graduating Cum Laude with both degrees. While in school I become a licensed Florida real-estate agent and broker. To help maintain my proficiency in real estate matters I continue to keep my Florida real estate broker license active.. Before becoming an attorney I gained invaluable experience working for a local civil engineering and surveying firm and in the Okaloosa County Growth Management (land planning) Department. During my time with the Growth Management Department I served briefly on the Okaloosa County Technical Review Committee.. I am a member of, and actively participate in, the Crestview Rotary Club and Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce. I sit on the advisory board of the Chamber PILOT (Professional Inspired Leaders of Tomorrow) Committee.. I am currently serving a three-year term on the Okaloosa County Code Enforcement Board and am a member of the Board of Directors of the Main Street Crestview Association..
