Before attending law school at SMU, William was an associate professor of government for Collin College. While working for Collin, he focused on teaching his students critical thinking skills through the Socratic Method as a way to unlock their perception of the world and understand how political systems impact their everyday lives.. Before attending the SMU Dedman School of Law, William attend the University of Texas at Arlington where he graduated magna cum laude with an Honors Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and a Masters of Arts in Political Science..
