Robert Wilhite was born in Dallas, Texas in 1978. He has one brother Nathan, who lives in Seattle, WA and is a Senior Manager of Product Management at Amazon Video. As a young boy Rob was very active in sports and outdoor activities. He played football, baseball and lacrosse in high school at Highland Park High School in Dallas. He was also enjoyed numerous other outdoor activities. He learned many of his outdoor skills in his quest to become an Eagle Scout, which he succeeded in becoming in 1994. After graduating high school 1996, Rob attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. As a freshman, he lived in Farrand Hall dormitory and also became a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He became involved in many different social activities with his new fraternity brothers and friends, while continuing his pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During the summers, Rob and his brother Nathan would go on backpacking and climbing trips so that they could spend time together. They spent summers trekking through Greenland and hiking and climbing in Pakistan. While these trips broadened Rob’s horizon to the world, he continued to work on his degree which he completed in 2000. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Rob took a year off from his studies. He moved to Alabama where he worked for an outdoor clothing and equipment store. He spent his time teaching kids how to rock climb, while at the same time taking his climbing and hiking skills all around the South. He then started his pursuit of a law degree in 2001 at The University of Tulsa. Upon graduation from law school in 2004, he moved to Denver where he was hired as an associate for The Sawaya Law Firm in 2005. Rob has worked his way up through the law firm to become the managing partner of the Litigation Department until he became the majority shareholder in June 2021.
