I bring 25-years experience as a civil and environment engineer working in the construction, water, environmental, and human development sectors into the legal field. My life and professional experience enable me to help my clients reach their objectives through contested litigation in the courts and/or through agreements/setllements with their opposing parties. During his engineering career, Vince was involved in all aspects of the construction process including: construction design engineering and “Greenfield” facilities design; design review and management; project estimating; scheduling; on-site field observation; site surveying; submittal review; requests for information and change orders; as-built drawings; and project close-out. Vince also has extensive experience relating to construction project administration including: site development and planning; complex municipal water system and drainage modeling; easements; project owner representation; construction quality control and assurance; state and federal regulatory compliance; multifaceted project negotiations; and creating and implementing project engineering design standards. As an engineer, Vince worked for and with numerous private entities; small and medium municipalities; large cities; state governments; and governmental agencies including: OSHA, EPA, DOE, DOD, GSA and USPS.Vince is well versed on legal issues facing the construction industry, and as both a lawyer and experienced Professional Engineer, he is often able to offer clients unique insights regarding their specific construction law matters. Vince received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 1989 including a minor in Environmental Science, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Montana School of Law in 2002. Vince was admitted to the Colorado Bar Association in 2003 and the Kentucky Bar Association in 2003.
