A native of California but a Coloradoan by choice, I was born and raised in Santa Maria, California. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. After moving to Colorado, I completed the ABA approved paralegal certificate program at Denver Paralegal Institute.. After a few years as a paralegal, I made a decision to enter law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, I continued to work part-time for a collection firm, completed an internship with the Honorable A. Bruce Campbell, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, completed an internship in estate planning, and completed an internship in landlord/tenant and other areas of law. I received my J.D. from the University of Denver Law School and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in November 2009. After passing the bar, I worked for a large Colorado landlord/tenant firm two years, then spent an additional year with a multi-state firm managing legal collections. Opening my own a firm and working for myself has been a long time desire. I look forward to representing clients with a focus on excellent service, dealing with consumers with respect, and striving to meet highest ethical standards. In 2014, I took the bar exams in Nevada and New Mexico, and I am now licensed in three states.
