Sara M. Cates is a partner with the law firm of Bloch & Chapleau, LLC. Ms. Cates’ practice is primarily dedicated to representing men in high conflict divorces and parenting time disputes. Kate's entire legal career is dedicated to the protection of the rights of children and parents. In various positions she has worked for the past 15 years representing children and parents who have become involved in our legal system, including but not limited to our juvenile court system. She has been involved in over 500 cases where she has been tasked with investigating and making determinations specific to substance abuse, sex abuse, domestic violence, mental illness and much more.. Kate started her legal career at the Arapahoe County Attorney's office, in cases specific to Colorado's Dependency and Neglect, Mental Health and Probate system.. Kate attended Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington, where she was involved as a CASA child advocate volunteer, and where she chaired the juvenile law club. I began my legal career working alongside a judge in a state trial court, and then moved up to federal appellate court (1 level below the U.S. Supreme Court).
