Destin Sims is a founding member at Rosenlund & Sims, LLC.  She is originally from a small town in south Louisiana.   She attended Louisiana State University and graduated with a bachelors’ degree in biological science.. After she completed her undergraduate degree, Ms. Sims attended Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, New York where she received a Dean’s Scholarship.. While in law school, Ms. Sims worked at Keaty Patent firm in New Orleans, Louisiana and in the legal department at Liz Claiborne, Inc., a fashion company headquartered in New York.  While at Liz Claiborne, Ms. Sims worked on national and international copyright and trademark issues.. During her final summer of law school, Ms. Sims resided in Denver, Colorado and held two internships.  She worked at the National Conference of State Legislatures and at Colorado Common Cause.  While completing these internships, Ms. Sims decided that after law school, she wished to live in Colorado.. After law school, Ms. Sims moved to Colorado and took the Colorado bar exam.  She then worked at Levy, Morse & Wheeler, P.C.  At Levy, Morse & Wheeler, Ms. Sims was a litigation associate.. Ronnie was born and raised in New York. He has always had a passion for the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Throughout high school, college, and law school he made many trips out west to spend time on the ski slopes. During that time he also discovered a love for business and the law. He attended Cornell University for their excellent business program, and received his Bachelor's of Science in Business Management and Marketing in 1999.While attending Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law he was able to spend a summer at the Central European University where he concentrated his studies on alternative dispute resolution techniques including arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. He received his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in alternative dispute resolution and intellectual property in 2003.With a law degree in hand, Ronnie moved to Colorado to be nearer to the mountains he loves. He was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2003. Since then, Ronnie has focused his legal career to assist clients in the areas of intellectual property (i.e., copyrights, trademarks, and patents), business, real estate, personal injury and probate law. When Ronnie is not working, he is happily enjoying all the wonderful outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer: skiing, mountain biking, tennis, white water rafting, and four-wheeling.. I am an avid fan of bluegrass music and pick a little guitar and banjo.. Born in Longmont, I grew up in Grand Junction and I think my heart still resides in Western Colorado.  However, I did enjoy my college years down in Colorado Springs.  My wife and I also spent three wonderful years in Washington, DC and five years in Germany, back when I was a tax accountant.. We've been living in a new development out near Buckley AFB.  We've enjoyed the prairie and the incredible views of the Front Range from out there.  My kids attend an APS school called Quest Academy, which I would recommend to just about anybody.. Like a lot of Dads, I spend the majority of my free time coaching kids soccer, keeping up with Cub Scouts and Robotics Club.. I enjoy working with small and medium-sized business owners.  However, I have also enjoyed serving the legal needs (typically business related) of Germans, Swiss and Mexican nationals..
