We are a boutique litigation firm located in the Capitol Hill area of Denver, Colorado. We primarily specialize in civil litigation, defending individuals and businesses who are being sued in civil cases. My practice is divided between defending those individuals and businesses who find themselves as defendants in civil law suits, and representing insurance companies who have paid claims to and on behalf of their customers for losses caused by some other entity. Imagine a fire caused by an electrician or some other subcontractor on a residential or commercial project. Our insurance clients pay for losses caused by the fire, and then hire us to try and recover from the responsible party. As a lawyer, working half the time defending somebody or some company which is being sued, and half the time as a plaintiff, pursuing cases against a responsible party to recover money which the insuarance company properly paid on a claim, we have a unique view of both sides of the litigation process. It is quite helpful to know and understand both sides of the civil litigation "fence." We also represent seriously injured people who need zealous advotates. We are quite selective when it comes to personal injury cases, but our experience working on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants has been helpful to our injury clients. We represent injured individuals on a contingent fee basis.

In over 15 years practicing law, I've represented all varieties of clients in every variety of case. From defending large talent agencies against multi-million-dollar class action age discrimination in employment cases to representing mental health patients in commitment hearings, I've learned that nothing impacts a person more than their family. That is why I am so honored to be able to dedicate my practice to helping people deal with family law issues.. My brother Todd and I started Scardina Law, LLC because we wanted families to have a resource that didn't measure success by the amount of money earned but by the outcomes achieved. A firm that would zealously advocate for its clients with empathy and compassion for the entire family unit. A family business dedicated to helping families navigate through difficult times with dignity. I strive every day to help all my clients see that they are stronger than everything they were taught to fear. Nothing makes me happier than watching my clients grow as they face their challenges and regain control of their lives.
I've focused on employment law since my second year in law school. I work with people who need help with handling problems with their current or former employers. I am happy to help if you've experienced difficulty obtaining family or medical leave, had problems receiving wages or employment benefits, or if you've experienced discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
I'm originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and live in the beautiful mountain west states, Colorado and Arizona.. I'm licensed in Colorado and Arizona and have over 23 years of experience helping companies, investors and entrepreneurs with commercial real estate deals, transactions, complex leasing matters and general business law.. When I am not practicing law, I spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors, museums and cultural activities and relaxing with my English bulldogs, Moe & Nugget.
I have been practicing law in Colorado since 1996. I fight hard for my clients, and fervently believe in what I do. I have never been a prosecutor, and am a defender to my core. When in law school, I interned with the Colorado Public Defender's Office. I chose to go into private practice because I do better with fewer cases, and can devote myself more fully to a case. I have significant experience litigating personal injury cases and take great satisfaction in obtaining strong outcomes for my clients. I am always happy to answer questions, and if I can't help, I'll try to refer you to someone who can. Please feel free to call me.
