I started my career in law as a Personal Injury Paralegal.  I worked myself up to the position of a Supervising Senior Paralegal where I remained for six years.. Always wanting to do more, I decided to become a lawyer, and was accepted into law school.  During my first year of law school, I worked at the Rabun County District Attorney’s Office and during my second and third year, I worked with The Ryczek Firm, one of the best traffic ticket lawyers in Gwinnett County and in Georgia.  I was also a Pro Bono Student Ambassador for my school, and I received a 2016 Pro Bono Student Ambassador Award for my significant contributions of promoting our Pro Bono program within the student body and the legal community.  I graduated in the Top Twenty Percent of my class, earning a Cum Laude distinction. I also graduated with Pro Bono Honors for giving more than 100 Pro Bono hours to those in legal need.. Outside of work, I enjoy being with my husband, our three children, spending time with our families, and being active in our church community. My family and I also like to hike the mountain trails, kayak the beautiful rivers, spend time with our dog, and watch college football. We are also avid Braves and Falcons fans!!

EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATION. I received my undergraduate degree from Emory University.  I have a J.D. and LLM (Master of Laws) in Taxation.  I am licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida. I am admitted to the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE.
