Mr. Marriner's practice is devoted to the defense of claims for professional malpractice and civil litigation. He represents individual health care providers and medical groups in a wide variety of medical specialties in professional malpractice claims.  Mr. Marriner has litigated cases in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the United States District Courts for Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit . He is responsible for all aspects of case management, including development of case strategy, conducting discovery, complex motions practice, bench trials and jury trials. (law degree) in 1988 from the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland.. As a law student, I served as a Fellow for the Center of International & Comparative Law, in which I clerked for attorneys in Guantanamo Bay detainee matters, provided legal aid in Greek refugee camps, and published amici briefs and policy papers for International Courts and Non-governmental organizations. I also served as a Teaching Assistant, for which I conducted weekly lectures on legal writing and citation rules.. I was born in Athens, Greece and moved to Bethesda, Maryland at 10 years old.
