Mr. Ficksman's practice includes securities, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and domestic and international corporate finance. He acts as U.S. securities and corporate counsel for a number of clients based both inside and outside the United States.

Chris represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals in connection with all aspects of private and public projects, from contract negotiation to enforcing and defending contract, mechanics lien, stop payment notice, bond and other statutory claims.  These projects include commercial and industrial complexes, federal and state government projects, universities and schools, theaters, hospitals, retail stores, hotels, office buildings, restaurants and solar power projects.  Clients range from recognizable world-renowned hotel owners and publicly-traded steel and solar panel manufacturers, to local specialty contractors and supply companies.. Business Law. Carol Chow's practice concentrates on complex litigation arising in and pertaining to bankruptcies and other insolvency events.  Ms. Chow is highly experienced in the preparation and trying of cases under time pressures often found in complicated bankruptcy litigation.    Ms. Chow represents clients on a wide range of bankruptcy and commercial disputes, including avoidance actions, plan confirmation, claims objections, debt recharacterization, breach of contract, landlord tenant, and insurance coverage.  She has represented debtors, trustees, creditors, and creditors’ committees across various industries, including real estate, automotive, banking, manufacturing, and entertainment.   She has represented clients at both the trial and appellate levels.   Ms. Chow holds a BS in mathematics and computer science and brings a deep understanding of finance and technology to all of her cases.
