Jeff began practicing law at the largest law firm in New Mexico, mostly representing corporations and the State of New Mexico in business disputes and civil rights law suits. He then moved to California, where he practiced with several small Law Firms, mostly litigating business disputes between corporations as well as personal injury cases. After successfully representing an insurance company client against another insurance company in a multimillion dollar contract claim, his client hired Jeff to review its claim manual and create an in house legal department. The President of that insurance company called Jeff “our plaintiff’s attorney.”. Jeff and his family moved to Washington in 1996. He joined and eventually took over managing a small Law Firm in Snohomish County, representing some of the largest insurance companies in the country. In 2010, Jeff changed his practice when he joined The Kadish Twersky Law Firm and now only represents injured people. As a personal injury attorney in Everett, WA, Jeff uses the insight he gained from working with insurance companies. His goal is to help people who have been injured or killed in collisions and by the negligence of others to recover the proper damages for their injuries.. Jeff is married to a wonderful woman who “keeps him grounded.” Together, they have a daughter who is currently going to college, and of whom he is extremely proud. In 1994, Stephen Scalli knew there was a better way to help people who suffered traumatic injury or were accused of a crime. At that time, and unfortunately still true today, many lawyers and law firms put their needs ahead of their clients. Many firms had no empathy for the people and families they represented. Most importantly they could not be bothered to answer a client’s questions or keep a client advised on the status of the case.. From the day one to now, almost 25 years later, our team is still committed to getting the best result for you and not for us. We provide our clients with our cell phone numbers and encourage clients to reach out anytime they have a question or concern, day, night, even weekends. Keeping our clients up to date on the progress of their case and being available when they need us is our priority. We don’t just want you to be a client, we want you to be part of our professional family.
I work for a private nonprofit that does the majority of public defense in Snohomish County. I currently practice in the felony unit, handling a variety of cases from thefts and drug possession, to violent assaults and sex cases.
I was elected by my peers as President of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), a 2,300 member plaintiff's lawyer association, for 2009-2010, after serving on the WSTLA/WSAJ Board for 15 years. As a WSAJ Board Member, I have served as chair of Legislative Affairs, Membership, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and on the Finance and Executive Committees of the Association. I was also very involved in WSTLA/WSAJ's efforts to defeat both I-330 and R-67, via which big medicine/the insurance industry attempted to take away the rights of injured patients, individuals and families when they are injured by the wrongful or negligent acts of others. I have been assisting injured people and their families now for more than 20 years. I have successfully handled cases of all sizes and many kinds, including automobile/semi-truck/motorcycle accident, wrongful death, product liability, brain injury, spinal injury, legal and medical malpractice, insurance coverage and bad faith and drug liability claims, but emphasize the handling of larger injury cases. I have regularly been recognized as first, a "Rising Star", and then a "Super Lawyer" by my peers, and, thrice, among the Top 40 personal injury lawyers in the State. I served as primary editor/6 chapter author of the WSTLA Automobile Accident Litigation Deskbook, a two-volumn deskbook sold to lawyers state-wide which covers the handling of auto cases from start to finish, and also served as co-editor of the WSTLA Pleadings and Motions CD-Rom Handbook in 2004. In my spare time I enjoy golfing, softball/baseball, fantasy football, hunting and family activities. I live in North Seattle and handle cases from Tacoma up to Canada.

I strive to give clients peace of mind and transparency in working to resolve their legal issues. These legal issues can be frightening as they often involve the unknown. Many people have not had to throw their hat into the legal arena. I can work with you to get a plan in place for how to best resolve your legal issues and, in doing so, simplify your situation.. When I'm not working I love to travel, support my UW Huskies and Gonzaga Bulldogs, read books, go fishing, hiking, camping, backpacking, and play guitar.
I started working on personal injury cases just before my last year of law school. I was fortunate to work as an intern for a solo-practitioner, and learned all that I could in my time there, assisting with personal injury cases from intake to completion. This crash course in personal injury was unlike any class in law school. I learned how to work with and advocate for my clients. I’m thankful for the guidance and collegiality I received early on in my career and will pay it forward.. After graduating from Gonzaga School of Law in 1997, I continued handling personal injury matters, almost exclusively, working for two busy law firms over the next 20 years, gaining valuable litigation experience.. I opened my own firm, Radtke Law Firm, in October 2017. My focus and passion remain on plaintiff personal injury law, which allows me to continue to help those that have been wrongly injured by the negligence of others.. If you are hurt because of another's failure to follow a duty, an established rule, or exercise reasonable care you can pursue a personal injury claim to hold them accountable. Holding those negligent accountable leads to greater safety for us all. If you’ve been hurt, contact me for a free consultation.. ----. Derek is admitted to practice in all Washington State Courts, in Federal Court for the Eastern and Western District of Washington, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Derek is an Eagle Member of the Washington State Association for Justice (formerly the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association). Outside of law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, hiking, travelling and attending Husky Football games.
I represent people who have been injured due to someone else’s fault. The circumstances and complexity of my cases vary greatly. There is also a commonality to my cases. In each case, a regular person has been hurt, and on the other side is an insurance company or corporation that is very large, complex, and motivated only by its own profit. In today’s world, there are lots of ways to get distracted from the truth. In each case I handle, my objective is to make the truth known. There is no better way to get a fair amount of money paid through settlement or trial.. After graduating with honors from Boston University School of Law, I became a public defender in Bellingham, Washington. I did that work because I care deeply about fairness and protecting regular, and imperfect people in our adversarial court system. After doing that work, it was not long until I transitioned into representing people in personal injury cases. My cases involve motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, construction site injuries, and numerous other circumstances.. If you are in need of my services, I look forward to meeting you.

I provide hands-on, strategic, no-nonsense legal representation for individuals and businesses in employment disputes.. I offer understanding, skill and the power of the law so that justice can be achieved.
I love a fight for the underdog. I also love to read. Thankfully, I ended up in law school and got a job working as a deputy prosecutor trying cases; it was wonderful and eye opening and rewarding. I then had the privilege of working with State Supreme Court Justice JM Johnson for stint before returning to the prosecutor's office and trying more cases. I transitioned into a private practice where I focused on representing people, not corporations or governments, but real people who need a real lawyer.. My clients haver been a range of folks, some of whom needed my skill and advocacy as a trial lawyer, and many of whom needed guidance to a swift and favorable resolution. Overtime, with only so many hours in the day, my practice has become limited to representing injured people and their surviving families after negligent or worse acts cause catastrophic loss. Often this is in the context of insurance bad faith claims, as well as product liability and terrible trucking crashes.. ---. Graduating Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law, Brian enjoyed studying the application of the law. I look forward to working with you for your family law needs.
