Hello!  My name is Kelly Spann.  I am married to my husband, Todd, and the proud mom of Kyle, Kinley, and Kane.  I live in Florissant, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis) and love my community.  I love being active and spending time with my family and friends.  I also love my job!  My journey to the title "lawyer" was not typical.  I didn't "dream" of becoming a lawyer.  It was not even on my potential career path.  Then, in 2004, I began working part-time for an attorney, Jon Fortman (my now partner), as his assistant.  It was supposed to be short term while he found a paralegal.  But I quickly fell in love with the practice of law and part-time became full-time and days became years.  After gaining years of experience and encouragement from numerous other legal professionals, I decided to become a lawyer.  I graduated from Western Governors University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in business management and obtained my Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law in 2021 with a concentration in intellectual property law.  After passing the Uniform Bar Exam and being sworn into the State of Missouri Bar in September 2021, I became Jon's partner and FortmanSpann was born..
