I have had over 24 First Chair Jury trials to verdict, and over 45 trials total to date. I have fought Punishable by life charges, Minimum Mandatory Cases, and have extensive experience in Felony crimes, as well as minor crimes. I have handled over 1700 criminal cases to date. I work well with DNA cases in particular and had a PBL trial with three DNA matches found inide the victim's house, that resulted in a hung jury.. Graduating with High Honors, Britton received her Juris Doctorate in December 2002 from the University of Florida Levin School of Law and was admitted to practice in Florida in 2003.. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, and the Florida Bar Association. Britton was the 2020 President of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and is its 2022 Member of the Year. She currently co-chairs the Florida Joint Public Policy Task Force for Florida’s elderly and disabled. This task force is comprised of leaders of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and meets weekly to champion issues affecting some of Florida’s most vulnerable citizens.. Passionate about her commitment to the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center, she has been on the Board of Directors since 2004 and is a past president of the organization.
