Gregory L. Fumarolo graduated from Indiana University School of Business in 1975 and Indiana University School of Law (Indianapolis) in 1978. His legal career began in 1978 as an Allen Superior Court Law Clerk. Fumarolo was Chief Deputy Prosecutor of Allen County from 1983 to 1986, but the vast majority of his career has been in the criminal defense arena either via private practice or as a public defender, primarily in Allen practice has included death penalty litigation, appellate practice, trial practice and as court appointed lawyer in CHINS and TPR cases. Mr. Fumarolo’s career as a public defender was recently recognized by the Indiana Public Defender Council as their recipient of the 2014 Gideon Award given to honor an individual who embodies the attributes of a zealous criminal defense lawyer for poor persons in Indiana.

Experienced trial attorney with 20 years litigating complex drug trafficking, gang, and violent crime cases. In April of 2020, I joined the firm of Arnold Terrill, P.C., with the desire to put my extensive trial and litigation experience into practice defending those who have been charged with criminal offenses.. However, for 17 years prior to joining Arnold Terrill, P.C., I was employed as the deputy prosecutor in charge of the Vice and Narcotics division of the Allen County Prosecutor's Office. In that role, I oversaw the prosecution of every felony drug, gang and firearm prosecution in Allen County, Indiana--literally thousands of felony cases. During that time, in addition to conducting at least 120 jury trials related to drug and gun prosecution, I also conducted at least 15 murder trials.  In addition to having invaluable trial experience and instincts, I also possess a deep understanding of an individual's consittutional rights--especially those associated with search and seizure, self-incrimination, due process and the right to counsel in criminal prosecutions.  In my position at the Allen County Prosecutor's office, it was my job to oversee thousands of search warrants and to review every felony case for potential violations of the constitutional rights of the citizens of Indiana. As a result of my knowledge in these areas, I refused to file cases in which a police officer clearly violated the constitutional rights of a suspect--either knowingly or inadvertently (most violations are inadvertent).  Due to this policy, during my 17 years overseeing the Vice and Narcotics Division, only a handful of the cases I approved were thrown out as a result of a defense motion to exclude the evidence..
