Because I have raised a child with severe special needs and even suffered through the loss of her, my focus is very passionate and fulfilling. This is my life, not my work. I have applied to become a foster parent for medically fragile children who are waiting to be placed. I am a mission driven person and I live my life intentionally. I am very concerned that we are not bringing along enough passionate advocates for this cause, so this year I have started a series of webinars and an in person conference to promote special needs advocacy (practicing beyond the special needs trust) for our membership at MassNAELA in an effort to engage our attorneys in deepening their special needs practice.
