I have been in practice for 25 years and have substantial business, estate planning, and litigation experience.. I grew up in Minnesota. During my college years I worked on the family farm, where we grew vegetables.. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1984 with a Bachelors of Arts in English (also Phi Beta Kappa).. I attended law school at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. I obtained my J.D. degree in 1989, and am a member of the Order of the Coif academic honor society.. I settled in Fresno in 1989, where I have maintained my practice.. When CDs were the rage, I reviewed a lot of music for a local newspaper. My old website is still at . My son is attending law school at UC Irvine, and my daughter is a computer science major at UCSB. In my spare time I enjoy woodworking/cabinet making, trap shooting, and music.
