I grew up in Wauwatosa and went to school at the University of Minnesota.  After graduating in 2008, I lived in Madison, WI for two years.  There, I worked a number of government jobs through the Dept. of Justice and the Dept. of Corrections.  I also volunteered for a state representative.  While working in Madison I also prepared for law school.  I came back home to study law at Marquette University.  I have been working for Hickey & Turim since before graduating.  I am happy to serve both the English and Spanish speaking populations of this state.  In my freetime, I like to read, play soccer, hunt, travel, and root on the Packers, Bucks, and Brewers.

For nearly 20 years, I have aggressively defended OWI and criminal cases throughout Wisconsin.  My practice is statewide, focusing solely on drunk driving, criminal and traffic defense.  Over the last 18 years, I have successfully defended hundreds of OWI cases. I have been the lead attorney on more than 150 OWI jury trials.. Prior to working in Wisconsin, I was a law clerk for the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles.  My job was to assist in implementing the OWI implied consent law in Nebraska, and I worked with the administrative law judges in conducting administrative OWI hearings.. My years of experience practicing in Wisconsin and my former law clerk experience have given me a unique perspective from both sides of the aisle.  I fully understand the necessity of having  the represenation of a qualified attorney in an OWI case.
