I grew up in Denver with my family who remain in the Denver area.  My interests are mainly arts related; I am a fan of the local opera company, High Desert Opera, and the local music.. I graduated from Regis University in 2004, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in Finance and a minor in Business Administration. During my undergraduate period, I maintained full time employment with a large food distribution company based in the Denver area.. In December 2007, I graduated early from the University of Tulsa College of Law, receiving my Juris Doctorate degree.  I explored the legal field widely while in law school, working as a research assistant to one of my professors regarding cultural property, studying abroad in both Ireland and Argentina, and interning with private employers and the Tulsa County Public Defender's Office.  I was also the social chair for the local chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.. I moved to Grand Junction in 2008 after a period of interning for the Colorado State Public Defender's Office. Prior to joining Younge & Hockensmith as an associate, I maintained a small practice with a friend from law school in Grand Junction focusing mainly on family law issues.

I am an AV rated attorney specializing in water law.  I represent traditional ranch owners, guest ranch operators, developers, municipalities, and individual water users all across Western Colorado.

Brittany is a family law attorney serving the majority of the Western Slope of Colorado.  She focuses in the areas of pre and post marital agreements, dissolution, child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, and modificaiton of dissolution documents.  She believes in bringing value, compassion, and individual attention to each case she works on.. When not advocating for her clients, Brittany enjoys cooking, golfing, and spending time with her family.

Barbara enjoys meeting people and working on a wide variety of legal issues, including probate, estate planning, civil litigation, real estate transactions and business formation. During law school, Barbara served as Editor-in-Chief for the Arizona Law Review and touched off a life-long love for critical reading. During her year at the Court of Appeals, Barbara had the honor of clerking for the now-retired Honorable Jose D.L. Marquez, a former Mesa County District Court Judge and wonderful human being. While building her practice, Barbara successfully defended her client's judgment at the Colorado Supreme Court.  She has effectively represented clients across Colorado and from as far away as England and Australia. Barbara presented oral argument before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court. She is an active member of the Mesa County Bar Association and deeply appreciates the beauty of Western Colorado. When not working, Barbara takes pleasure in spending time with her husband, Bradley, visiting friends and family, and helping talented artists reach their full potential.

Annie is a partner at Dufford, Waldeck, Milburn & Krohn.  She is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and earned her law degree at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.  Her law practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate, estate planning/probate, guardianships and conservatorships, construction, and civil litigation.  Annie is a trial lawyer and also assists clients outside of court with drafting leases, deeds, property management contracts, real estate purchase contracts, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, promissory notes, deeds of trust, and construction contracts. Outside the office, Annie volunteers to teach children to nordic ski for the Grand Mesa Nordic Council, directs a youth choir, and performs with High Desert Opera.  She loves spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children.
