He is also a member of the Latrobe Area Hospital’s Golden Hour Committee whose purpose is to educate on the importance of a quick medical response to the symptoms of a heart attack. Further, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association and the Latrobe Area Hospital Charitable Foundation.. In his spare time, Mr. DeRose enjoys traveling with his family, playing the piano, gardening and attending Penn State football games..
