I graduated from Spring Hill College in Mobile Alabama in 1978 and from the DePaul University College of Law in 1981.  In December of that year I sworn in as a member of the bar and have practiced civil litigation in all forms since.  During my career I have tried about 30 cases to verdict including a record verdict in Mason County, Illinois, a medical malpractice plaintiff's verdict in Morgan County, Illinois, and a 6.6 million dollar verdict in a wrongful death case in Cook County Illinois.. Workers Compensation is a substantial part of my practice and I regularly arbitrate claims before the commission both at trial and on appeal.. While the vast majority of my work is on behalf of men, women and children injured through the negligence of others or while at work, I also litigate contract cases and claims against insurance companies.
