Mr. Lyons is the president and Senior Attorney of Lyons and Smith, P.A. and he joined the firm in 1998. Mr. Lyons received his Bachelor Degree in economics and finance from Barry University, School of Business. He then attended Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated from the School of  Law in 1997. During law school, I was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Association of Business Law Students, Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and the Jewish Law Students Association. In addition, I conducted an academic internship with Holland and Knight, LLP, during my final semester of law school, and began my law career as a contract attorney with Holland and Knight after passing the Bar. After spending almost seven years as an associate with Fogel & Cohen / Shafer Cohen in Boca Raton, I decided to open my own practice, Jonathan C. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Ross worked as a paralegal for six years assisting attorneys in all phases of condominium & homeowners' association law.  He later attended Florida State University where he graduated ontracts II; Creditors Rights, Estate Planning, Evidence, Gratuitous Transfers, Law of the Polar Regions, Legal Research & Writing I, Legal Research & Writing II, Professional Responsibility, and Worker's Compensation). After law school, Mr. Ross briefly worked in the litigation department of a mortgage foreclosure firm before accepting a position as an appellate lawyer at a prestigious Miami law firm.  Recognizing a rampant problem in the South Florida area (as well as other areas of Florida) whereby the rights of hardworking owners were being violated by out-of-control associations and their debt collectors, Mr. Ross decided to start his own firm with an emphasis on consumer protection issues.
