I did trial work for every law firm I worked for in both federal, state district, and county courts at law in Harris, Brazoria, Fort Bend, and Liberty Counties in Texas. In 1997, I was hired as an Assistant General Counsel for the Houston Independent School District, and I primarily was responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department with employment issues and for terminating certified personnel on written contracts. I did this for 16 years until I left the District in March of 2013..
