Around 30 years ago, when I was practicing in the corporate section of Butler & Binion, a once major law firm in downtown Houston, I was recruited to join the firm's trust and estate section to assist business owners with their succession plans. I left Butler & Binion in 1994 and joined with Tammy Manning in 1997 to form the law firm, Galligan & Manning. In my spare time I write and read.  I love to write fiction and non-fiction.  I do a lot of public speaking to writers groups and business.  I can use all the amazing life experiences I have to create programs.  It is exciting for me to do public speaking and I love my work with the National Speakers Association and the National Speakers Association Houston. I serve on the Board of Directors of that organization and it has really helped me in my public speaking.. I also serve on the Children at Risk Law & Public Policy Board and love to be involved with a group who works so hard to help children in Texas.. Dancing and exercise are a regular part of my life.
