Ron also served several times with the Nebraska Supreme Court, publishing several opinions.. Upon retiring from the bench in 2005, Ron joined his son, Sean, in the private practice. Since retirement, Ron has received a favorable Supreme Court ruling establishing an attorney’s obligation to pay for support services, a favorable settlement for a minority shareholder’s stock in a closed corporation, and a Court of Appeals decision affirming a dismissal of an action by an ex-spouse to vacate a property settlement on the grounds of fraud.
