K.C. grew up in Reedsport, on the Oregon coast.  After graduation, K.C. headed to Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon.  In 1997, K.C. earned a Bachelors degree in Finance with a minor in Political Science.  After Linfield, K.C. attended the University of Oregon School of Law and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2000.Immediately after law school K.C. clerked for the Honorable Lyle C. Velure of the Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, Oregon.  In April 2001, K.C. joined Thorp, Purdy, Jewett, Urness & Wilkinson, P.C. and became a shareholder of the firm in 2007.. In March 2022, K.C. joined Bromley Newton, LLP and the firm is now known as Bromley Newton Huffman, LLP.. In 1993, I earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in Law from the University of Oregon during which time I also worked as an environmental consultant honing my knowledge and skills by investigating sites for potential environmental liability and working with companies in contamination delineation and remediation plan alternatives.. After being admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1994, I began working in private practice where I continued to expand my knowledge of the law. In 1999 I co-founded Yarmo and Wasley, PC in Bend, Oregon. In 2002, I relocated my private practice, the Wasley Law Office, PC, to La Grande, Oregon, where I was originally raised, and continue to help clients with their legal issues.

I was born in Valencia, California and moved to Eugene, Oregon when I was a young. I've lived in and around Lane County for over 20 years and have developed many ties to the community during that time. After graduating from Sheldon High School, I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Oregon in 2014. After graduating from the University of Oregon, I tirelessly advanced to a production manager at a small manufacturing company in Eugene before deciding to pursue a career in law.. In 2019 I made the decision to go to law school and graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 2022 while raising my first-born son. In law school, I focused primarily on business related law and was determined to start my practice as a business transactions attorney. Upon graduating law school, I obtained employment as an attorney with Gottlieb Law in Lake Oswego, Oregon and focused my practice on business transactions, business formations, real estate and general business contract work.. In May 2024, I joined Strohman Ford, LLC to serve as the primary business and real estate attorney for the firm. My practice continues to focus on business and real estate transactions, business formations, and general business contracts. I strive to provide all my clients with the best possible legal advice and work product relating to business and real estate to help them achieve their desired goals.

Everett represents individuals and business entities in the areas of business law, employment law, real estate matters, construction liens and/or defects and landlord rights. He is an experienced and skilled litigator and represents his clients in court whenever that becomes necessary.. Outside of the office Everett is a constant reader and a serial hobbyist who enjoys spending time with his wife and introducing his two small children to not wholly appropriate music.
