He graduated from Texas Tech Law School in 1988 after receiving an undergraduate degree in economics from Texas A&M University.. Kevin has tried many cases involving injuries in meat packing plants, auto and truck wrecks, oilfield accidents, and train wrecks. He was lead counsel in the two largest railroad crossing accident cases in Texas, one resulting in a 65 million dollar verdict out of El Paso, TX and one resulting in a 46 million dollar verdict.. Kevin is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. Kevin is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.. Kevin has been selected  to Thomson Reuters Texas Super Lawyer continuously since 2004. Only five percent of attorneys in the state are selected. I enjoy helping people at work and going home and playing with my children.  I enjoy going to the park and just hanging out with my little ones.  I enjoy outdoors, matial arts, and hunting.  I enjoy lifting weights and generally try to stay active.
