Tom Hoffner concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, deferred compensation, employee benefits, and business succession law. I have long been a strong advocate for children. Before attending law school, I was a social worker for the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare. Now as an attorney, I help families involved in divorce and paternity proceedings, grandparent and foster parent rights cases, and in complicated CHIPS and termination of parental rights matters. I am involved in the community through volunteer work for various associations and the State Bar of Wisconsin Attorney Hotline. She was the lead attorney in a 2014 appeal in Wisconsin about applying the marital presumption of parentage to married same-sex couples post-marriage equality.
