Roger’s military honors include: Distinguished Graduate, military technical training and ROTC; recipient of the Harvey S. Smith Award for collegiate academic and military excellence; one of fifty Air Force officers selected for the prestigious Air Force Intern Program at the Pentagon; and recipient of General Lew Allen, Jr. Trophy for being the top aircraft maintenance officer in the Air Force.. Roger’s academic credentials include Juris Doctor cum laude, with a concentration in Elder Law, Stetson University College of Law; Master of Arts in Administrative Science from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.; and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University. During law school, Roger completed significant legal work at the Gulfcoast Legal Services Elder Law Clinic; the Sixth Judicial Circuit Prosecution Clinic; the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Department of Justice Elder Justice Initiative..
