As a public defender, I was in court litigating almost every day. By the time I left the Public Defender's office I was training and supervising new recruits.. In 1999 I left government work for private practice. I had enjoyed family law classes in school and found the transition easy and the new area of practice a good fit. My degree and experience in psychology have also been a tremendous resource. It was then that I realized how many of my clients were running into problems because of poor or no end of life planning. And I fell in love with yet another area of law: estate planning (probate, trust administration and adult guardianship)!. Through my 31 years of practice I have been involved in many Arizona State Bar committees, a Supreme Court committee, as well as other law related organizations, such as Los Abogados.
