I have also participated in an arbitration resulting in a favorable determination that the Collision and Towers Liability provision of a Hull policy did not provide coverage for a sunken barge tied up to the insured tug. In addition, I have engaged in successful settlement negotiations in advance of trial.

Hope Phelps is a New Orleans native and Mount Carmel Academy graduate. Hope received a dual degree from Louisiana State University in 2013, earning both a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She earned her J.D., cum laude, in May 2016 from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Hope competed on the 2014 First Amendment Moot Court Team and returned to coach the 2016 team. She also worked as a student practitioner with the Family Law section of Loyola’s Law Clinic representing children and interdicts by court appointment and representing low-income clients in divorce and continuing tutorship cases.
