Alan received his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and his B.A. from the University of Maryland in Government and Politics. Alan is a member of the Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity, in which he held numerous positions including President of his campus chapter and was recognized nationally as the Tau Beta Man of the Year. Prior to entering private practice, Alan worked as a Staff Attorney for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C. , where his responsibilities included handling employment discrimination, intellectual property and general litigation matters. Alan is admitted to practice in the States of Georgia, Florida and Maryland . He also belongs to numerous professional associations including the American Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the Maryland Bar Association.. Alan lives in Johns Creek, Georgia with his wife and two children. Alan enjoys playing a wide variety of sports, coaching junior teams, and is very active within his community.
