After graduating law school Matt continued to work in the financial services sector, but his passion for the law drew him to become a District Attorney.. Matt moved to New Mexico in 2017 to become a District Attorney. While there he fought passionately for those who have been wronged. Matt handled 1st , 2nd ,3rd , and 4th degree felonies and has extensive trial experience. He enjoyed advocating for and making a difference in the lives of those wronged but wanted to be closer his family in Minnesota.. Matt and his wife returned home to Minnesota in 2019. Upon returning home Matt joined Smith, Paulson, O’Donnell, & Erickson, where he fights fervently for the needs of his clients.
