Joel Van Nurden is a lifelong Minnesotan. He grew up in Rochester and moved to Minneapolis to attend law school. After graduating and practicing with a local law firm, Joel founded Van Nurden Law to provide clients with top quality, affordable representation for litigation matters in Minnesota.. Beginning in high school in Rochester, he worked for a number of years as a radio disc jockey and on-air personality. During that time, Joel went back to school for paralegal training. His first position in the legal profession was as a paralegal in a Rochester law firm.. While working as a paralegal for litigating attorneys, Joel realized that he wanted to represent clients himself, so he enrolled in law school. He worked as a law clerk at a small Minneapolis insurance defense firm through most of law school and as an associate at the firm after passing the bar. He has represented companies and selling shareholders in taxable and tax-free transactions and ESOP transactions.. Peter served as as an associate at Henretta, Cross, Ness & Dolan, and then as General Counsel for Midwest Casualty Insurance Company until July 1998, when he formed the law firm Peter C. Brehm and Associates in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  In 2004, He was named a Rising Star in Small and Closely Held Businesses by Law and Politics magazine.  Peter is a member of the Minnesota State and United States District Court Bars and the Arizona State Bar.. Peter Brehm earned his Juris Doctor cum laude and his Master of Laws and Taxation from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he currently serves as an Adjunct Professor.. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at North Dakota State University and is a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha political science honor Society.  While at  NDSU, Peter was a member of the NDSU cross country and track & filed teams, and earned All-America and all North Central Conference  honors at 1,500 meters.

Darwin S. Williams is a litigation attorney with American Family. Mr. Williams focuses his practice primarily on civil litigation, defending clients/insureds in the areas of personal injury, general liability/negligence issues, and construction defects..
