I was born and raised in Iredell County and am a 1993 graduate of Oak Ridge Military Academy.  From there, I attended The Citadel, the military college of South Carolina earning his Bachelor of Arts in business administration in 1997.  I attended Cumberland School of Law, at Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama where I received his Juris Doctorate in 2000. I have been a member of the North Carolina State Bar since 2001 and practiced law full time in the Iredell County and surrounding areas since 2001 joining the firm of Gottholm, Ralston and Benton, PLLC in 2014.  I practice primarily in the areas family law, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, divorce, criminal defense, traffic offenses and residential real estate transactions. I'm a member of the North Carolina Bar and Iredell County Bar, and serves in the Iredell County Indigent Defense Commottee. I have served as Chair of the Board of Directors for Stop Child Abuse Now, a local child abuse advocacy center, and as Vice President of the Rotary Club of Troutman, North Carolina.

I’ve been working in Iredell and surrounding counites since 2019 and I’ve come to realize how much of a need there is for good, honest probate attorneys. Honestly, I think that statement applies to the greater Piedmont Triad area, generally. Because of this, I have made it my sole aim to provide clients with two critical things: first, a better understanding of the probate process, which can be quite complex and overwhelming, and second: friendly, responsive, and competent representation as we tackle the probate issues together.. I got my start working with a well-known and well-respected attorney in Iredell County but recently, as he moved closer to retirement, accepted an offer to join the Fidelity Law Group team and manage a new Statesville branch of the firm. I consider Statesville the city that built my probate practice and I owe a lot to the people here who gave a brand-new attorney a shot. Danielle Feller understands first-hand how important it is to make sure a person’s estate planning and estate administration needs are taken care of. Danielle’s father was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2016. After the initial shock of the diagnosis subsided, Danielle made sure her parents spoke to an estate planning attorney to update their wills. After Danielle’s father passed away, she quickly learned how emotional and stressful it can be to administer an estate after losing a loved one. It is Danielle’s goal to relieve some of that burden and help others in the process.. On top of doing estate planning and estate administration, Danielle frequently represents students who have a Title IX complaint filed against them at collges and universitites across North Carolina.. Danielle moved with her family to Mooresville, North Carolina in 2006. She graduated North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. Danielle continued her education at Campbell University School of Law. During law school, Danielle discovered her passion of helping others by utilizing her talents in research and writing. After graduation and passing the North Carolina Bar Exam, Danielle began her career as a research and writing attorney involving complex criminal legal issues and representing individuals in both district and superior court. She has been named Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association and Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2020.
