Andrew Jacoby has spent the last ten years working with people and communities impacted by environmental and public health threats. Whether it is from landowners whose land is contaminated from oil and gas waste, or water contamination from a nearby gas station, or community groups who feel that the local or state government just isn’t doing its job to protect them, Mr. Jacoby has stepped up to help enforce rights built into the law. This includes oilfield contamination, leaking gas station storage tanks, hazardous contamination from dry cleaners. But it also includes where lawsuits to enforce the Public Records Requests to state agencies, and fights to require local governments to follow their own laws with respect to zoning and land use issues.. Andrea began her career with the firm as a law clerk prior to graduating from law school. She graduated from Loyola University School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, achieving the school’s highest academic distinction, designation as a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar. Prior to attending law school, Andrea received a Bachelor of Interior Design degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and worked as a paralegal for several years.. Andrea has lived in the greater New Orleans area for most of her life. She grew up on the West Bank and lived in Metairie for many years. Currently, she and her husband, Jeff, reside in Little Rock, Arkansas with their son, Jackson, and have a baby daughter on the way.
