He was also awarded the Rutgers School of Law Alumni Senior Prize, bestowed on the graduate exhibiting the “greatest achievement during their entire law school career, and who has the greatest promise as a future member of the legal profession.” In addition to his J.D., Joseph also holds a B.A. from Villanova University and a dual M.B.A. from Seton Hall University.

Jared A. Geist, Esq. specializes in family law including divorces, custody disputes, child support issues, domestic violence, DYFS (DCPP matters) and post divorce matters. Mr. Geist has litigated over 100 divorce cases and over 300 family law cases since his legal career began in 2009. His practice also includes immigration,  bankruptcy and civil litigation. Mr. Geist currently serves as the Prosecutor for the Borough of Bogota as well as the Counsel for the Borough of Ramsey Shade Tree Commission in Bergen County, New Jersey.. Mr. Geist graduated from Central Michigan University in 2005 with a B.S. double major in Journalism and Political Science. James Durgana is an experienced workers’ compensation litigator who defends clients before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board in a broad array of matters. James’s extensive workers’ compensation background includes working in-house at one of the country’ largest insurance companies, where he defended work-related claims, created and executed its workers’ compensation litigation strategy, and successfully resolved matters. He has also litigated personal injury matters in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey and before juries and arbitrators on issues of liability and damages.. James earned his J.D. at Villanova University School of Law, where he was the recipient of its Dorothy Day Award for pro bono legal service. Among several internships and clerkships, he also served as a judicial extern with the Hon. Petrese B. Tucker in Philadelphia and was a student representative at the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and Emigrant Services (CARES). There, he submitted brief and supporting affidavits to successfully support asylum-seeker testimony.
