Hi, my name is Vanessa Curran owner of VC LAW OFFICE, LLC. I have been in the legal field over 20 years. I began my legal career as a legal assistant for a prominent personal injury firm in Kansas City while I was still in undergraduate school.  Attending school and working was valuable experience as I was able to witness what I was learning. Directly after I graduated from law school I moved on from there to become the law clerk for the Honorable Judge John R. O’Malley of the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri.  The knowledge and experience I gathered in this position has proven to be priceless. Along with the relationships I was able to establish and learn from and I continue to benefit from the experience and those contacts today. My last stop before going into private practice was working as a staff attorney for the Division of Family Services, Children’s Division on the abuse and neglect docket. I can’t thank the people I have met and worked with up to this point enough to express my gratitude for everything I learned and the experience I gained and continue to gain. Upon leaving the Division of Family Services I began my solo career in private practice. I have had few different locations over the years. A 2001 graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City Law School, Kansas City attorney Michael Wambolt has practiced law for more than 21 years. From 2001 to 2009, Michael was an attorney with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office (“AGO”). He is particularly proud of his time in the AGO’s Consumer Protection Division from 2004 to 2009, where he prosecuted civil and criminal fraud under Missouri’s Merchandising Practices Act.
