Tim is a 1998 Graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law where he graduated with honors, served as a Staff Editor on the Oklahoma City University Law Review, and was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board for three consecutive years. While attending Law School, Tim worked full time during the day at a six attorney Civil Litigation law firm, and attended Law School in the evenings. Tim obtained his limited license to practice law in 1997 was personally representing clients at hearings and jury trials before graduating from Law began his own law practice in May of 2000 and has remained in private practice since that time. Emilie Kirkpatrick was born and raised in New York City. She attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where she triple-majored in psychology, religion, and Spanish. While at Wesleyan, Ms. Kirkpatrick worked at the Connecticut Valley Hospital, one of the last state-run mental hospitals. She assisted and advocated for mentally-impaired patients whose afflictions ranged from bipolar Disorder to Schizophrenia to severe drug and alcohol addictions.. Ms. Kirkpatrick came to Oklahoma in 2003 to be closer to her family. Upon arrival, she enrolled at The University of Oklahoma School of Law. In addition to her legal studies, Ms. Kirkpatrick served as an editor of the American Indian Bar Review.. After graduation, Ms. Kirkpatrick began her legal career at the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s office. During her tenure at the Public Defender’s Office she personally handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from DUI, property crimes, drug possession, trafficking, sex crimes to murder. Ms. Kirkpatrick rose through the ranks of  the Public Defender’s Office to become a supervising attorney, responsible for advising less experienced attorneys and interns, primarily in the areas of case management and trial preparation.. Ms. Kirkpatrick further distinguished herself by obtained coveted dismissals prior to trial in a wide range of cases, including murder. All of my life people (family, friends, strangers, etc.) have told me that I should get involved in the practice of law and/or politics. I think even from a very young age I displayed a passion for the law and more importantly, justice. Growing up my family moved a lot and I believe that is what formed my ability to engage with any type of person on any number of topics.. I have had experience growing up in big cities like New York and Chicago as well as quite suburbs and rural communities such as St. Louis, Springfield (MO and IL) and now my hometown of Oklahoma City. With that said, I have lived in the State of Oklahoma for the longest of all of the places I have lived and this is truly becoming my home. This is where I attended and graduated law school (Oklahoma City University in 2015), took and passed the bar exam and most importantly, met my beautiful wife Katherine..
